Use for questions regarding brushless DC motors.

Brushless motors (BLDC motor or BL motor) are electric motors that use stationary stators and change the magnitude and direction of current going into the stator coils to rotate the magnets on the rotor without the need for brushes and a commutator.

Brushless motors are naturally more power-efficient than brushed motors and can operate continuously at maximum rotational torque. Brushless motors are also much more capable of delivering precise torque and rotational speed.
